Sheepshead in the canal

We hit up the canal in gulf shores today. Put in under the 59 bridge around noon. We caught 17 Sheepshead in an hour and a half. Ran out of bait and came home. Used small live shrimp around the pilings.

Is that bridge in the bayou or in the bay? Very nice catch, how are you going to cook them?

nice mess of sheeps kevin. sounds like you left em biting too. rocky creek rider that launch is on the intracoastal waterway in gulf shores, right under the hwy 59 bridge.

Got the shimps at the bait shop/fish marketon hyw 59 and county road 10, I'm not sure what the name is.
