we dodged several bullets this morning with the rain and was able to put togther a fair morning of fishing.

Lacey is working her bug looking for her first explosion.

and there she is!!!!!

Watching skipjacks and bluefish crashing the topwaters would be a blast. I know they wreak havoc on the tackle but it is neat when they are around. Must be especially fun on a charter because they keep the folks busy all day. You have got some great tides this week for early morning fishing. Good job!

Are those Shimano Calcutta rods you're using? I'm thinking of picking up a baitcasting rod and wondering how you like them and how they hold up? Thanks
