My son, Brother, and myself made an early run to a public spot about 10 miles SE of pensacola pass. We made a stop at the bait boat and headed south into the storm along with many other boats. We thought we would be stopping short of the storm. We put down anchor with the storm south of us, but then it was on top of us before we got any bait wet. We pulled anchor and headed back to the pass in pouring down rain and lighting all around us. It was clear in the bay and we had plenty of live bait so we anchored in a spot in the bay. We caught 2 shark and one large stingray. We had a lot of fun in spite of the weather.
