Default Pensacola pass report 07/01

Left out around 0600 to some wonderful weather. We trolled to the west and the east. Seen a sailfish and a couple of turtles. Ended up catching 2 keeper size kings and 2 undersized kings, also caught one spanish. Finished the day off catching a few mullet off pensacola beach. Was a great day to be on the water. Sorry about the size of the pix. That's a 120 qt. cooler those fish are laying across.

Thought I'd reply to your post since no one else did. Nice job on the kings. Did you present a bait to the sail or check the turtles for cobes? Sounds like you had a great day and caught fish. Thanks for the report...Mike

Was only able to get close enough to one turtle tocheck for fish. The sail was seen slashing at some bait fish but quickly disappeared.
