Pensacola Bay July 2

Saw two Jacks swim under the dock about 11am. Threw a lure at them but no luck. Put out a live 6-8" Roanker and dropped some depth charges to attract the Jack. Sure enough, the bottle rockets exploding underwater brought them back. At yelled for the two boys that the game was on! Here we go, by the time we run to the end of the dock half the 750 spool is out. 15 min later no gain on the fish so my son and I jump in the kayak to try and chase it down. 20 min later we get him to the boat, but now we're a quarter mile from shore. We tail rope the jack and try to paddle into the waves back home...Not Too Good:hotsuntxtPost_CommentEmoticon(':hotsun'); Put the fish across the front of kayak and finally made it back. Pretty fun adventure for me and 8 year old. 27 lbs
