Default midbay bridge redfish

Stated fishing the beach for spanish with no luck. Tideswitched and beganto fall so decided to go inshore. Went to indian bayouand caught some greenies and tried pitching the docks and got nothing. Ran to the point grass flats on the north side of the bay to the west of the bridge....nothing!...Hit up the bridge on my way into the marina for one last chance before getting skunked. Hooked into three reds only getting one in the boat. 2 inches too big so he went in. After a long revive time, and a splash in my face, he swam away.

Caught him at about 1300, south of the channel in about 30 feet of water with tide going out. Used 1/0 hook 10lb test 20lb flouro.

Took the pics with my phone...sorry not the best quality..

Still a nice looking Red you have there with the multi-spots! Great catch! Tight Lines!

Nice catch, the fishare makingus work for it right now! Yes I have seen some finger mulet and peter mullet in small schools in the Sound last week, haivng a little trouble getting within casting range before they spook, but they are showing up.

Lookingfor a decent weekend this weekend, i like the tide times and the wind should be down in the mornings, keep your fingers crossed!:toast
