Default Liquid Medication and salt water therapy

My friend Ryan (Liquid Medication) gave me a call on Thursday asking if I could make some time for fishing. Even with the vast amount of work I've had lately (yes that was sarcasm) I was able to squeeze in a little time. So we met up and headed to a new spot to try for some more of those fish with a funny grin. We started hooking up at our first stop. Ryan caught the first fish and it was a decent fish. Then I caught one a little smaller. So at this point Ryan had the bragging rights. After about an hour and a couple more keepers and quite a few small fish, Ryan hooks into one with some shoulders and it was to the boat in short order. One problem though......no net! Ryan grabs the line and POP....of swims this huge sheepy! Now I got the right to start ribbing him...ha! Well about another 45 minutes goes by and each bite we had we were hoping to see that big boy again. I had a lobster of a shrimp on and it kept getting bit in half and bit in half, until i had a small chunk left on my hook. Being the conservative person that I am....I refused to get a fresh bait......and it paid off because my line got a little nibble and when I set the hook the drag let me know it was still working. Up comes a decent toothy fish and all I can think of is....NO NET! Ryan wasn't letting another one get off so he pulls off some sort of "I've been in the sand box, I make s**t happen" maneuver and gets that fish in with a pair of pliers. I am now staring at my largest to date sheepy. I'm sure others have caught larger but this made a good day into a great day forme. On top of that we saw a couple of bald eagles. Not a bad way to spend a day!

Not bad at 20" long

In comparison. The smallest fish was 12.5"
