fished with bill...marty...and ben on august 14th and 15th. we connected on two inshore slams on the 15th. Bill and myself scored!
![]() bill and marty looking for schools of mullet ![]() as we found the schools of mullet we worked all around them...the redfish would trail and sometimes be right in the middle of the mullet ![]() bill has a big explosion from a nice redfish at the boat ![]() hold him bill...is he spooling you? your drag is screaming ![]() ok...ready for the net? ![]() a nice 6.5 lb red! ![]() capt wes spots and hooks this stud right in the middle of about 200lbs of mullet ![]() 19lbs! ok show off back in the water...you can't take capt wes anywhere ![]() bill with a nice speck close to the boat launch ![]() well we had a total of 16 flounder...30+ specks...and 2 redfish over two days of fishing...anglers kept a few for dinner and let the rest back to fight another day! well the day did not start right...boat signaled no oil...after a few calls and i felt ok to proceed...a nice overcast day with light winds and the bay was glass! ![]() justin started the day right with a nice fish chasing the BUG ![]() the BAM and the drag is screaming...this was all day non stop! ![]() nice 6 lb spanish ![]() ![]() both mike and zack getting explosions as capt bob watches on ![]() now those are a couple of studs! ![]() ![]() WOW...Wham Bam thank you mam! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() oh...just 3 lbs! ![]() ![]() ![]() Zack with a juvenile african pompano ![]() ok alittle fish fry in the works! ended the day with 25 spanish and 10+ bluefish and 1 african pompano. i hope you enjoyed! tight lines! |

Those are some awesome pics!!! Looks like you guys had a great time. My buddy hooked up on a juvie african pomp as well off of NAS pcola a few days back too!!! Again great pics!

Those are some fat spanish! I don't think you can get a better fish on a topwater. Just an outstanding report with some great pics.
