Default I wish everyone could have had a supper like mine...

My wife and I took the boat down to Bon Secour River this morning. We bought three dozen shrimp at the Fresh Market on 59. The bite was slow but steady all morning. We brought four fat sheepshead home, and they fried up so good! A few oysters on the side with onion rings in beer batter, and baked beans... Home made limeade. Fresh sheepshead is just about as good as it gets!

As usual when I fish with my wife, she took me to school. I was feed ing the sheepshead, and she was setting the hook and working them in. Her biggest fish was probably six pounds- put a real bend in her rod. We caught a few sub-slot redfish with those glowing blue tails, and even one 18 inch speck. Other than getting outfished- it was a great morning.

Ihope all of you had as good a supper as we did- Lord, I'm glad to live on the Gulf Coast! Good fishing to all- Ed Mashburn

yea, Ed, I know the feelin' of gettin' schooled by the girl.

She's a lock on gettin' good fish.

I wish Teri was always with me on the boat.
