Fished Hog Town around 5:30 am to 7:30 am Sunday. Thousands of mullet lining the shore, there must have been reds all around the fish however did not spotany redstailing and could not spot one from the poling platform. Hooked up with a 20 inch lady fish on Yozuir 3d minnow and and a 20 inch trout on a fish belly lure. Fish belly lures look like the real thing, could not believe how life like they were.A lot of boats fishing the1st point at hogtown, i prefer the the next point east.
Anyone having any luck around the flats in Choctaw Bay? Caught about 10 reds 3 weeks ago fishing docks, not my kind of fishing. |

Took the family out yesterday, late start 0900 on. Water was dingy and little tidal movement. Saw a FEW bait schools, caught some pinfish and tried em around the Mid Bay Bridge pilings and a redfish dock. One rat red........
Been slow in C-Bay for me. Better water movement next weekend tho.
