Launched at east river off 87 in Navarre Fri. night and had a great time catching Lady fish, pompano, and trout on gold spoons, then went today at around 4:00pm after the game, storm was moving in, went anyway, storm quickly moved over got a little sprinkle but again, plenty of action right where the river meets the bay of Lady fish, pompano, and one good slot red which was my first ever to eat, tried him on the grill like someone on here suggested, fillet with scales on one side, cooked with some Tony Chatcheries spice till done and it slides off the scales and skin INCREDIBLE ! God I love this !!!!!!!!!!! Makes it all worth it when I come home empty handed 9 out of ten times !

By saying 'where the river meets the bay' do you mean bythe powerlines or right up near the sawgrass where the river widens?

Oh no !!!!! From the launch on 87 at east river, two minutes low speed idle where the river opens up at the bay, grass flats on both sides.

I have seen 24 ft pontoons launch there, no worries. I love the grass flats right there where the river meets the bay, only thing I don't like is how muddy it is, would like to slip out of the boat and wade fish, but you will sink in about 3 feet of mud !
