Default flats off of eglin

went out after work and the water looked good so i threw topwater and came up with nothing but big blowups and all misses, so i went to the gulp shrimp under the popping cork and success

landed nice specks one after another after another. 8 total with 2 small 15" reds. let them all go to come back one day and find them even bigger. back at the pad at 1000.

What top water plug were you having problems hooking up with?

Man I knew I took the wrong day off from fishing.:banghead I fished Tue & Wed and plan on going in the morning but stayed home today and caught up on some yard work. I stopped by Bear Creek yesterday and nothing for mein the marina, lots of small trout on the west side of the channel. It was about 0900 when I got there with no water movement and very little sign of bait. I should have tried more of the grass.

Good report!
