Specks should be coming on the flats pretty soon. Wait for the water to warm up and then its going to be on!!

Specks have been scattered between the Escambia I10 bridge, Garcon Bridge and the 3 Mile Bridge . . . . that means they are on the way.

I will be hunting GATOR TROUT soon!

There are some specks on the flats. Seems like there are more reds though. It looks like a good year for reds!

Free line

have you seen any bait out that way? It seems like when the glass minnows start getting thick everything really turns on. I am going to give it a try in the A.M.

Thanks for your reply

I saw glass minnows one day, and trout were hitting them. That was the only daythat I saw them though.

Until the water warms up a bit more, fish between the 4-8' water range and along dropoffs for the trout. The reds arent bothered by the water temps nearly as much. When the water is cold fish with go up on the flats because of the sun warming the water. The reds will be in water 1' on out. Look for structure such as points, docks, pilings, dropoffs and potholes. hope this helps~
