Default Fish are biting in the bay again!

Went out with Scott and a buddy of his from work last night to try and catch something around 3mile. I was pretty doubtful b/c of the condition of the water. At one point Gerald thought we were kicking up mud but it was just the dirty water. We got to a spot and anchored up and were soon into the trout. They were hungry as usual and we layed into them. Caught about 30-40 to keep and let almost as many go. The wind shifted and it got cold so we headed in early. It was a good night to get out and get a line wet!

had a great time laast night. the water was muddy but the bite was still good. no reds but still a good night. here are a few pics.

konz using a white trout to catch a gulp bait.

gerald (back yard boys) one of his many white trout. his secret weapon was a little glow light just above the hook.

and the fish. just keep enough for lunch for me and some neighbors.

Good job there and a nice mess of fish, much less than braving the cold! About that secret weapon...the glow stick above the hook. Any feedback would be helpful and thanks in advance. :bowdown

only gerald was using it. it is a little glow thing that you put on the line you can see it in the pic just above the fish. we still caught fish without it. but i guess when the water is that murky any help in finding the bait will help. it didn't hurt or slow him down any. he put one on my redfish rod tip so i could see it better in the dark. was real nice out there untill the wind changed and picked up to 5 knots. thats what made it cold.
