Default Escambia Bay Morning Cardio!

Grabbed a buddy a went fishing this morning hoping to find the ever elusive redfish for the upcoming EC Redfish Club tournament this Sunday. Only had a couple of hours before I had to pack up and go to work so I covered a bunch of ground in very short amount of time hoping to spook up something. Escambia bay this morning looked dead on the east side so I made quick decision to go across. 2nd cast, bammmmm, seezzzzzzzzzzzzz.... 45 minutes later and about 1/2 mile from where I hooked him, we got the beast in the boat. This will wake you up in the morning.

My Shimano Spheros 3000FB is now truly field tested. 20lb powerpro w/ 20 floro leader. Fun...

Some Pics.

That is one helluva Jack on a 3000 size reel. Better check your drag washers. I bet they are flattened out after that long of a fight. It is easy to make your own. Just pick up a piece of felt and cut some new ones out.
