Nice looking bass. I know it's not popular, but I think bass are good eating too.

Did you manage to get around Weavers? If so, what did the water look like over there?

I was able to move around with no problem but man it was swift in the man channels and the water was a little stained....so I stayed in the little creeks. And I know a lot of people don't like keeping bass and that is ok with me....but when I want fresh bass for dinner I can't go to Joe Patties and pick me up a couple of pounds so.......to each his own! You and I can enjoy eating them!!

Amen brother!

I need to get out and catch some jackfish for my step father. He's in poor health and no longer fishes. He used to love eating them and bugs me about catching him some.

If any anglers come across a few jacks, keep them and I will be more than happy to take them off your hands. As a matter of fact, I might start a thread in the freshwater sectionwith a humble request...
