This 26 1/2" red was caught this morning on Blackwater. Biggest fish ever for this young man. Very impressed with his fishing skills. Throwed a baitcaster all morning never backlashing. Ended the morning with 1 red and several 16"-18" specks. Fishing Blackwater will test your patience. Fish SLOW!!! SLOW!!! SLOWWWWWW!!!

Thanks for all the responses guy's. Brant thanks for the offer on the trout holes. I will probably take you up on that. i am gonna give it a while first. My favorite part about fishing a brand new area is trying to figure it out. I love studying the maps, and tide movements and all that junk. Kinda makes fishing challenging again. Unlike fishing a well known area like the sound.

Anyway guys I will keep you posted on the quest for the Dirty 30, I'll probably be back out there on Friday and Saturday maybe even sunday...
