Default Destin Bridge near Coast Guard Station 10/5/08

We were fishing by Coast Guard Station around Destin Bridge an hour before sun down. We used live bait (LY, Shad)caught around the shore there. We anchored up and started chuming sardines. Within an hour we caught five slot reds (20-22 inch), and let two back in the water. Got our limit and headed home.

We were going to fish by the bridge but it was very rough there with the wind coming in and tide going out. We also fished in the morning by Midbay bridge in the grass flat for trout. We caught around 25 trouts but they were all under size 12-14 inches.

There's only room for 1 boat where he was, try to horn in on the action will result in a lure/weight tossed at you or get mowed over by someone headed out to the pass......
