Default Decent Night and Need help with Crab ID

Met up with Bladeco and a few of my refular fishing brethren and had a little luck. Fish were caught on the pier at the base of Bob Sykes bridge.

25"

Bladeco's also at 26" and a fatty!

My friend Steven caught a weird crab in a net. Below are some pics

When you would touch this guy he would ball up and looked just like a small stone.

I found a crab like that on a wreck in 75 ft of water this past summer, except it was more white and black mottled. Same features though, when I poked him with my spear he balled up and looked like a piece of granite underwater. Pretty cool find though. I wish I knew more about what kind it was.
