couple pass reds

Headed out of Sherman Cove early this morning to see what we could do around the pass. Loaded up with some finger mulletand headed for the jetties. Anchored up and after about 5 min. I had the first fish on of the day. The fish broke off but sure gave my new Diawa/Allstar light tackle combo a workout! Then my dad hooked up. Boated this nice 30" red.

After a quick re-rig it was my turn, got this 25" slot for dinner (no comment on the facial expression)

My dad missed one more fish, and then the bite stopped.
