Choctawhatchee River/bay

Went out to the mouth of the river this morning and the top water redfish bite was on. They were feeding hard on schools of shad and with the Zara spook on it was almost not even fair. We caught 13 slot reds,2 that were over the slot and 5-6 under. Anyway here are the 4 we brought home

What timeframe? I started to go this morning and decided to go into work. Guess I should have gone!! I do plan on going tomorrow morning though....

6:30- 10:00 is when I fished, but they were still hitting when we left.

Me and a buddy on here caught 3-4 today but they were all just shy of 18" farther west. same with trout 14 s
