Default Choctawhatchee Bay 17 Sep

Picked up some live shrimp and headed down to Destin to fish the lights. I threw the net a few times and caught some menhaden too. Ive had pretty good luck the last few times Ive been so I decided to take my girl and her 4yr old son. Couldnt stay out long but we managed to catch 6 reds and 5 trout but they were all undersize. They were hungry and hitting the bait as soon as it got down a foot or so. He had a blast so that definitely made the trip worthwhile. He had never caught anything but cats in saltwater so they were his first "real" fish. Caught me off guard so I think I was more excited in the pic.
