Fished today in BW with a couple of friends from Georgia. Found the fishing to be very tough. We had to head to protected backs when the wind picked up to try to sightfish some reds. Once we were there, we found good concentrations of slot sized fish in 3-4 foot of water. Saw a school of10-15 upper slot reds. Hooked 3 of them and landed1. The fish were very stubborn and didn't like the idea of being hooked. The one that was caught was 263/4" and weighed 6lbs. The young lady also picked up and nice trout to top the day off. Total count was 7 reds...mostly rats and 4 trout.
All fish werecaught on Gulp! shrimp and Johnson Spoon.
