Are the big reds still biting around the octagon pier?

I have not been fishing on that pier in about a month but the last couple of times I was there was nov. 4th and 12th. flordaboy, his wife Nina, and I had all caught a red the night of the 4thin about an hours time. Flordaboy's red was the only slot fish. I went back alone on the 12th and I caught another over slot red.

yeah, they're still around, just not nearly as thick as they were back in November

Has any one else been fishing this area latley ( Octagon pier/ Bob sikes)? Have you been catching any size reds?

all of those look over slot...35"+ it appears

Oh yeah brother, all of those fish were over slot. That is why I have not been there in a month now. I can't get a red that is slot, nothing but over slot. I like to keep some fish every now and then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
