Got up a little late Saturday morning. Beautiful day though. I was expecting the wind to be blowing by about 9 or 10, but it was slick calm.
Started fishing at about 8. At 8:30 I hooked the first Redfish. At 8:45 I hooked the second. And proceeded to hook up on 3 more fish through the next 45 minutes. Got three fishinthe boat, two of the others spit the hook after about 10 seconds. Also had a fish follow my bait all the way to the boat and splashed me as I picked the bait out of the water. Big fish, scared the crap out of me. Pics are all by myself from a camera phone. ![]() ![]() ![]() p.s. So many boats out there I could barely find a parking place. |

NICE REDS! I was one of those other boats at Hogtown. Two keeper trout, one 24 inches and the other 16 inches. I launched around 6 AM and I was about boat number 10 at the ramp. I'll be there at 5 AM next time.

Hogtown is on the south side of the Choctawhatchee bay, between 331 bridge and the midbay bridge. There are a couple of other little bayous that finger off of it in that same area. |
