Default 1-11 [Quick Sheepie Slaughter]

The Report:

My buddy Parker has never fished for sheepshead before & just got a 12' John boat w/ a 4 stroke 5 horse Merc, so we decided we had better hit the water to see if she had any mojo. Turns out, she does. Although the trailer sure doesn't... Thankfully we were able to take the motor off & put the boat & motor into the back of his truck for transport.

We only had about an hour & a half once we finished the whole trailer fiasco & finally got to the water a little after 9AM. But we made it count. He put a good one in the cooler on the first cast, & from then on we stayed on a pretty consistent bite. Can't wait to get out there again!

Tally for the Morning:

Parker's Trailer: One flat tire & one sheared-off axle
Parker: 3 nice sheepies
Me: 4 nice sheepies

Tight lines everyone.

I wish I could find somewhere to buy fiddler crabs right now... I should just go catch some but I've been too lazy. The past few trips we've been using TINY bits of fresh dead shrimp. Hookup ratio has increased drastically because of the small baits & the sheepies at the area I fish do not mind dead bait at all, as long as it is fresh.

Wouldn't be posting these reports if I hadn't learned from the finest.
