Default Where da reds and trout at?

Have a new bay boat (thanks Santa) and looking to get into bay and creek fishing.

Perdido Bay, Soldiers Creek, Lillian area.

Where am I likely to find fish this time of year and what lures do you recommend?

When you find out, let me in on the secret.

I also just got a small inshore boat. I've tried wolf bay, mifflin creek, graham creek and roberts bayou with live shrimp(under a popping cork/on bottom/free line)gulps and various plastics with nothing to show for it but a few quiet evenings on thewater, which ain't all bad.

Guys, the reds are everywhere now, get out there and throw a pinfish, pigfish, croaker, or small trout on a hook and let it sit. Ive also caught them on squid lately. Im not in Perdido bay but I have caught them in the channel at sand island in 18 ft of water( near the pass ), in the pass in 10ft of water, off the gulf side of the beach in 6ft of water, and at 3mb in 30ft of water. I couldnt find a red to save my life in the summer but now they are just freakin everywhere in my personal experience. Especially look for birds, I saw some in the pass recently, eased up, threw a piece of squid in the middle and BAM, instant 40incher
