Wade Fishing Johnson's Beach
Was gonna give it a try tomorrow morning for a few hours on the grass flats ... anyone been out there the past few days ?? ... if so , was it all topwater lures ?? ... thanks in advance :clap

Went to johnsons last week when it was overcast and didn't do any good in the afternoon. threw some topwaters on some grass in perdido (not johnsons) last wednesday morning about 7 amand caught a 3 pound trout on a super spook jr on outgoing tide, and caught a 4 pounder today at 10 am in the rain on a red and white zara spook on outgoing tide. there is nothing like that topwater blast.

went out a few days ago and my cousin hooked and lost some real nice specks. got one in. using live shrimp.
fish were bustin on top though. |
