Default tarnish on spoons

I got about 5 johnson sprites and within no time all of them started tarnishing? Are they still worth a flip, or should I just buy new spoons?

try some flitz polish on them , but they work way better when shiny because the flash is greater.

well i came up with a solution, thatseems to be working. The obvious, I am beginning to really spray down the lure when i go spray down my reels and guides. On top of that, I began using "salt away" solution. I spray that on the spoon after i spray it down with waterand it has yet to tarnish.

I have made a practice of washing all of my hardbaits that i used while fishing when i wash down the rest of my gear. It makes them last a lot longer, thus saving me a lot of money.

Toothpaste will remove the tarnish.

wonder if you could dip the spoon in polyurethane when you first get it, then it would be protected from corroding
