Default Northeast Choctawhatchee

I'm thinking of putting my 19' Key West center console in at either Lafayette creek south of hwy 20 and drift fishing down into and around LaGrange/Mallet Bayous or putting in at Alaqua (Portland Park ramp) south of hwy 20 and doing the same down to Alaqua bayou. For those who know, is that doable in this size boat. If so, any suggestions on fishing tactics (troll, casting) and which trip may be best for specks and reds. Thanks.

The launch on Shipyard Rd in Freeport is on Four Mile Creek which dumps into LaGrange Bayou. If it were me, I`d use this ramp. Plenty of room to maneuver, 8 parking places for boat and truck, newly renovated, bathrooms, etc. It`s a nice ramp.

Thanks. I'd like to give that a try one day. Don't know anything about fishing that area, but willing to learn if it's worth it.
