Default Navarre Area inshore

I was hopingI could get some direction to throw at some fish on Friday. I have been kayak fishing the intercoastal around the Navarre bridge to the creek about 2 miles to the west and I haven't seen anything. The water is still cold, but his is usually a great area. There hasn't been much bait around. I did see something braking the top last week on my way to work down near the millitary station point near the county line. I was wondering if there are other areas that may have began to show some action? I was taking a friend out for his first kayak experience and I wanted him to at least get a bite... Any direction would be helpful.

Thanks.

A friend of mine said he was catching Trout and Reds in the sound down by Hurlburt last week, but that is all he would say. He's lived here all his life so I couldn't tell you any more than that.

Try around the docking area on the island side across from Hulbert barge landing.
