I am coming down there in a week a got a quote from key sailing to rent a kayak and they said it would be $200 the first 2 days and then $70/per day thereafter. For the week it will cost over $550 . Can anybody direct me to a more reasonable place. I am used to paying around $300 for a week. That price seems crazy

Heck, unless you're flying, just buy one. You can buy a pretty good one for the price of a week's rental. Two trips get you a great one.
