Default Choctawatchee Bay Advice-New to area

Hey Folks,

I just moved to this area in early December and am looking forward to putting my old 1960's Starcraft in the bay. I'll be launching from the Niceville area I believe, as it's the closest to home. I've fished freshwater most of my life, with a few excursions out on party boats and piers. I plan on staying inshore and fishing the docks, structures, grass and perhaps do some trolling. I'm hungry for advice on where, what to use, etc... Without giving away your secret spots, I welcome any tips ya have. Redfish and snappers are a whole new ball of wax for me, and although I enjoy a learning curve, I also enjoy having a few in my cooler.

Thanks All-

Clay
