Today is the first day of the dreaded "H" season. Plan well, have an escape plan with an alternate plan "B", stay informed, and be safe. Let's hope we have a "non-event" year along the panhandle, and elsewhere.

And remember, it's only 6 months until Mitch n Lane's "Gumbo Brew" in celebration of the end of hurricane season. Go ahead, mark it on your calendars, 1st Saturday in December.
