does a 9.9 merc outboard need to be winterized in any way

Only if you don't plan on using it for a while. Fuel condtioner, run it for 15 min. disconnect the fuel line andspray fogging oil thrucarb before it quits.

Also can I run this motor with ear muffs on it? |
