Default Which type of spark plugs

I'm replacing my spark plugs and yamaha calls for NGK LFR 6A-11s. These are the "standard" plugs. I also saw that they make iridium plugs NGK LFR 6AIX, which are called "premium class".

Which ones should I use? Do the iridium plugs provide better or longer performance?

Thanks

The regulars usually are good enough. But if your motor is sound (5% or less leakdown) & induction/combustion ratio is at 14:1, irridium plugs will definitely last longer however you will notice no difference in performace. In laymens terms use em if you can afford em! outbrdwrench.

OK, I ordered them. We'll see how they work.
