Pretty much exactly the case. When the boat was rigged, they ran most of the helm, and helm level power requirements off the same power supply line. All the power requirements above that (Hard top, spreader lights, radio, radar) were on a separate supply line. By running a new 8 awg thru the tube and isolating the C80 on it's own circuit and own "isolated" battery: pretty sure we have it licked. Hasn't dropped or failed on half a dozen trips at low speed or higher..
