It will drive the pump at a slightly higher RPM and may develope a little higher pressure.

Did you have the new pulley's powder coated?

yes I took your advice and had them allpowder coated. Will that slight increase in pressure harm anything?

I assume that if I have a week line then the increase pressure could burst the line but other than that?

thanks

Kevin

I doubt the increase in pressure will be enough to cause a problem. Did you get a different set of pulleys and have them powder coated? You may need to get a shorter P/S belt with the smaller pulley.

I would recommend getting a few sizes smaller then the origional..find the one that fits best with room for adjustment and return the ones not needed. Better to make two trips then3-4-5 or moreetc. Then keep the sleeve or put a tag somewhere with the belt number. I find that if a belt should break it will break where the numbers are in-bossed:banghead
