Default Minn Kota Riptide and Power Pole shallow anchor repair

My riptide is not working right and my power pole remote no longer works so I am looking for a reputable repair shop. Any suggestions??? I would like to leave the units on the boat and just bring the boat.

Thanks!

David with Lawn Co. can take care of your trolling motor 857-1971. He is a PFF member but I can't remember his screen name.

Voodoo Lounge, aka Capt. Tony, Edgewater Marine, 380-1996,is a Power Pole dealer.

what's wrong with your TM? My riptide went back to the shop after a few months because it would not go into 5th gear and the handle was loose. They fixed it under warranty and it was good for awhile. Now you can't tell what gear you are in..1-4..and you have to hold it hard to get it into 5th. Also, all the numbers are worn off housing and I take it off the boat and keep it in the garage. Can't say I am impressed with it....

I can address your Power Pole issue's, and Fox's trolling motors in Mobile can handle your trolling motor. David has had to close his doors due to the poor economy. Let me know if I can help

Thank you for all of the info. I have since drpped the boat off at Posner's Marine and so far so good! they have taken care of my power pole, trolling motor, and diagnosed my jackplate indicator issue. Looking forward to picking her up and getting back out on the water!

The riptide problems were: Foot pedal would turn the shaft, but not engage the prop. Co-pilot would do nothing. It appears the master brains have checked out. Another on order so I hope that does it. I had a rip tide before with a handle and had great luck with it. So far not that impressed with the auotpilot version with the co-pilot attached. too many problems so far.

Nick will take care of you. For all my engine maintenance I use Posner...for any electronics or systems related repair/installs, I use Tony Blanton at Edgewater.

Thanks for the feedback. It's tough to find the right people when you go to a new area and the PFF has been a great resource. I hope I can be as helpful to Pcola newbies in the future.
