Default Cushion repair

I have a Bay boat and the seam in both the cushion behind the steering wheel and on top of the live well has unraveled and is open. I've since dropped off the cushions at Advanced Upholstrey in Robertsdale and wanted to get an opinion on whether the price is right. These cushions are stapled on the bottom, so both cushions will need to be taken apart completely in order to re-sew the open seams. They have quoted me $175.00 (Material $45.00 and Labor $130.00) + 4 year warranty and 20% commission on any referrals for the next year.

Is this overpriced or priced correctly in your opinion?

Default RE: Cushion repair

That's about right for a re-cover. If they are just re-sewing seams (I wouldn't recommend it), what is the $45.00 material cost for? PM me with any questions. I used to have a boat canvas business.
