Default Check engin alarm

Check engine alarm keeps going off when in an idle or very slow to idle speed. Can't get more than half a tank of gas in the tank either. Start to fill it and it comes to the top and won't let me put more in until it's run for awhile. I'm thinking it's gotta be fuel line related. I haven't really gotten in to it yet, but thought I'd ask everyone before I dig in. It's a 225 Honda 4 stroke. Water is spitting out fine and oil is full, so that's why I figure it's a fuel line issue(considering the fact that I can't fill the tank)

You can't fill the tank normally b/c the vent is clogged or kinked. If the alarm is only at idle or slow speed and goes off when going just a little faster the motor is overheating. Time for a waterpump overhaul.

I hope this helps.
