Default '97 90 hp Mercury stalling out after trolling for about 10-15 min

I just got a used '97 Proline CC. It has a 90 hp Mercury on it. It has less than 50 hours on the motor. It seems to run real good but after we troll for about 10 -15 min, it stalls out sometimes. We pump up the bulb and we are good to go again. What is going on? Also, sometimes when we troll at about 800 rpm, we hear a clicking sound like it is not all the way in gear. Seems like the sound is coming from the foot. Any ideas on that?

Thanks for the help,

Greg

As for the clicking sound, are you running a Stainless prop?

No stainless. Everything is factory.
