I got a small one In Milton u could borrow. But I would go buy a window unit per room, heck if the current unit never shuts off, probably about the same amount of power used?. Just my .02?

Breeze, if the AC is that uncomfortable maybe this would be a reason to break the lease and move into another place. Maybe some real estate folks on the forum can give an idea of your rights as a renter.

Did you check the inside return unit.Rake a hairbrush across the "fins" of the coils. Dust and lint build up on the coil fins sometimes causes this to happen to me.

The glass in the yard that they refuse to clean up is also probably a good enough reason to break the lease if I decide to do it.. But I got three dogs.... this place is ideal for dogs cause of the large fenced in yard. Would be hard to find a place that is willing to rent to someone with three large dogs, plus have a nice fenced yard..

I havent checked it too closely yet, but wouldnt be surprised if it was dirty. When they put the new air handler in they never put a filter in there.. we didnt realize it till about 3 weeks later when I decided I probably should change it... Same air conditioning company....... you would think they would realize how important the filter is..

You did to check to make sure they did'nt put the old style filter in..Did'nt you? The type that goes right under the inside coil?? Not the one that usually pops out in the hall-way.

Yea, but when you regularly have 110 degree days 84 is cool! Besides that you have a "dry" heat..............

Dry or not there is no shade so 110 is still 110! It's like living in an oven over half the year....come live out here and you will give up everything to have refridigated air again
