Default View the International Space Station

The International Space Station can be viewed in the early evening sky starting tonight.

The ISS will rise tonight in the northwest sky around 7:26 p.m. and head eastward for about five minutes before disappearing in the Earth?s shadow.

The space station will return Thursday night and can be seen in the northwest sky heading southwest starting around 7:54 p.m.

For information about more ISS passes over Pensacola this week, go to www.heavens-above.com/.

You can see the ISS with naked eye after 1 and 2 hours after sunset. The ISS is at 350km height so it still got sun reflection, after 2.5to 3 hours there will be no sun reflection anymore cause the sun is too far below the horizon. It looks like a fast (bright) flying star. If you see a flashing light then it is not the ISS but an airplane.
