Default RE: Tour of Burgers

After two attempts to enjoy the burger that you guys describe and failing, I have given up on finding the enjoyment of eating the Best Burger in Pensacola.

(After all, it is an big investment due to the high cost of that burger, and I will go for the proven consistency time and again at the Blue Dot and Oval Office)

I will trust the judgement of theBurger Tourin their ratingsand accept the fact that not all can enjoy the same quality burger there, and remain with Grits A- YaYa when visiting there.

BananaTom (10/17/2009)Well - I guarantee - that the burger in the photo looked nothing like the one I had at The Fish House.

Now I understand - The Fish House can, and then again The Fish Housecan not - make the Best Burger.

Heck the tomato I got was a little ugly piece of crapand the spice on the meat was so over powering, the meat flavor was covered up.

Those two huge red slices in your photomake my mouth water. So I guess I have to give the Fish House a second chance and try it one more time.

I sure hope I get one of the good burgers and not one of the bad burgers this time.

Thank you for clearing these facts up in your return trip to the Fish House, and clearing up why some get a good burger and some get a bad one.

Isn't this entire Burger Tour tainted?

Every Friday a group of 6+ shows up to have burgers during lunch.

DING DING DING go the bells in the kitchen.

And what is served is not what the average joe is served.

BananaTom describes the difference between the burgers in the chain ads on tv and what you get in real life.

All that said, believe it or not I had a darn good burger at Chili's on Fairfield at Mobile Hwy yesterday for lunch. Cooked to medium and there was actually beef juice dripping from it.

This is what I've got at this point..... I need to wait until we update the website to officially announce the winner.

The details will be posted onour sitesoon. This was fun!

(I had to get the Bible in the picture. Having those three burgers at the same time was like a religious experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Our website is being updated with the details as I type....

All I can say is, WOW! The scoring could not have been any closer. The bottom line is, you need to try all of our top 3 and make your own decision who's the best. Here's my take, if you have $15 and want to take a gamble with consitency with the upside being the best burger you've ever tasted and the downside being a slighty overseasoned pattie, go to Fish House. If you have $15 and want a consistent, savoury burger while you're out of town, go to Bonefish. If you've got $5 and want the most consistent, simplistic, mouth-watering burger, go get a Blue Dot.

I can't believe we actually had all these burgers on the same plate at the same time! I am very thankful for my job and the people I work with to be able to do this. It is absolutely amazing and I don't want to take it for granted. Thank you to those who are and who have defended our freedom to allow us to indulge in this foolishness!!!!!!!
