My Father was also a Saints fan since day one. When I was a child, we would go the games after church. I rode in the well of a VW bug. The cars was full of people as parking around Tulane Stadium was challenging, thus the bug worked well for sqeezing into tight spots.

He was much more of a fan than I was. I wish also he could have seen this happen, as he passed a few years ago. He was originally from Minnesota, and his brother and him were rivals accordingly.

My son and I were miles apart last night, as he is working in Grand Isle, LA, but we sure have shared the moments by phone and text.

The Saints Parade will be shown live on Cox 319 Tuesday, 02/09/2010 at 6pm.
