Do you own one, or have you ever spent several days or weeks sleeping on one? We do, and bought one after hearing what friends and family had to say about them. Personally, I think it is a fantastic bed and I consider it the best mattress and most restful sleep I've ever had. Yes they are worth the money. Been sleeping on one for six years and it's as good as the first day we bought it. Can't say that about any other mattress and foundation set I've ever owned.

I dont own one, i sell beds and know all the ins and outs, you may sleep well but when that air bladder breaks good luck on trying to get them to fix it.. $500 per bladder not including labor

dont take advice, its your money and you are the one who has to sleep on it, take your time and shop around. and before you take the free trials on certain brands make sure you find out return fees, some palces will sting you on a return.

I spent 6 weeks or so in a Radison hotel that boasted their use of sleep number beds. I thought they sucked. I like firm a matressbut whenit was pumped up it was uncomfortable and when it was downin the low numbers itcaves in the middle likethe air mattress it is. Alsohaving two different settings for the two sides sounds good in theory but didn't work out very well in my opinion.

If it works for you great, butthey are not for everyone.

I have one and don't like it. I sleep on my stomach though. It's not very good for anyone who

sleeps on their stomach. Tell you what.... If you decide to go with the sleep number give me a call and make me an offer. I am looking to go with a temper pedic personally. Seriously, I'll sell mine to offset the cost of a new one. It's a king and works perfectly. Packs well for moving too. Give me a PM or a ring (Mat @ 334 328 0199). Will deliver.

I forgot to mention, the wife is very pleased with the bed. It's just not for me.
