Default RV Repair?

I bought a used camper that isn't quite working as it's supposed to. Anyone have any experience with local repair shops or recommendations on where to take it to get repaired?

It's a 2001 coleman pop-up. The fuse for the interior wall outlets arcs out so they're not working. I assume it's a short somewhere. I also can't get the pilot light for the water heater to light.

My wife works at Camping World in Gulf Breeze as a service advisor. She has been in the industry for longer than some of the maintainers and she can do circles around the guys when talking RV lingo, go see her. That place has fixed problems other locations have royally screwed up, like using actual house roof glue instead of the RV stuff to hold down a brand new roof. They do great work, just ask for Amy. She's there today but won't be there this weekend.

Thanks wackydaddy. I live in Bagdad and was hoping to find somewhere a little closer to the house. I'll definitely keep her in mind in case that doesn't work out.

That would be GREAT! I'd actually like to learn how to do it myself rather than take it to have it done. I'll PM contact info.

Thanks
Tres

Thanks K-Bill. I saw these two when I googled, but wasn't sure what kind of business they did. If I remember right, Bill's had a single one star review and Southern Komfort had a single five star review, but it looked like they'd done it themselves in response to someone's negative review of them. Neither was a good measure for me on whether or not to do business with them so I thought I'd check the forum to see if anyone here could point me to somewhere they'd had good luck.

Do you have experience with either of the two that you'd recommend using them?

Thanks again
Tres

i've known several folks to use them and all seem pleased. except one who unreasonable expectations - but that's another story. i wouldn't hesitate using either. but i'm kinda with you, if i can learn and tinker around myself i'd rather give that a shot before paying rv labor rates. not sure exactly what these guys run but it's prob in the neighborhood of $90-$100/hour.
