We have PM'd sever times back and forth today over some of his posts and his signature. It is the Ku Klux Klan symbol.

I personally find it offensive. I will not hate someone just because they are black, Jewish, Catholic, Buddist, etc. Not much on hate in general. I can thoroughly dislike some people though. I thought others may feel the same way. I guess I was wrong. I mean, I voted for Macain, but, just because Obammer won, I am not going to post a picture of a Kluckker with a noose saying we should lynch him. America spoke. He won. I still remember the oath I took when I joined the Navy to protect our country and way of life. I have no use for skin heads, klukkers, black panthers, gang bangers..etc. I feel each of these groups are against America as a whole. Therefore, the symbol is offensive to me. I spoke for myself then, and now. I don't like it, but, if it doesn't bother ya'll, it shouldn't bother me.

Wade, I for one am with you. Didn't see the posts you are apologizing for or the one with the KKK symbol (I guess you removed), but theissues you are referring to are absolutley offensive to me.I believe in free speach, but I reserve the right to be offended by intollerance and biggotry and by God I believe in this nation and our system of democratic governance. McCain said it when he said Obama is his president. He is all of ours and will be for at least the next four years whether you voted for him or not. McCain was doing more thanjust being a gracious looser, he wasshowing his understanding of the fundamental tenets of our democracy.We nominate candidates, we listen to the debate, and we pick our leaders. Once that is done, we go forward as one nation hoping and praying that those we electeddoa good job of honoring the trust we placed in them. In four years, we do it all over again. It is what separatesus from many other nations. Based on your comments, I suspect you prefer our system to the one they have historically used in, oh, lets say Afganastan, for example. I figure having a candidate other than the one you voted foris better than civil war.

As far as I'm concerned, no apology required. I'd simply prefer to say, thank you.
