Most hated not least respected. The most players currently on NFL rosters, the most players at the pro bowl ant the most national championships in the lays 30 years. They will be hit hard by the NCAA and should but they will be fine. Coker and Shannon are the two worst coached in the history of the NCAA. Golden says all the right things so time will tell with him. Anyway my point is a NCAA sanction will purge this team of the quitters that fill the roster and hit the ground runnng just like last time this happened. I am not worried. I don't know how many times in my life I heard the choke at the Doak. Oklahoma is the same. Their only championship in the last 20 years has been against Florida State. FSU didn't even deserve to be there!!!! FSU and Miami had the same record and Miami beat FSU. There was about 5 teams that could have beat those 2.

Shark, you are right, and I agree that fsu should not have been in that championship game against Oklahoma. I do remember well.
But I do disagree with you about them playing right now though. They are both ranked high, and I say, " If you can't dance, then don't play the juke box "!

Even I am wondering who's ass was kissed for fsu to have their #5 ranking but not complaining. You're rite though after saturday a lot of questions will be answered. The Doak is gonna be crazy saturday. I'm already packing the truck.

again...........how can you even dare to compare fsu's numbers with much of anyones in the nation right now? THEY HAVE PLAYED TWO TEAMS WHO CAN'T EVEN WIN IN THEIR OWN SCRIMMAGE GAME!
Alabama "didn't" run up the score against kent state because they didnt need to. They didnt even open up the offense at all. No wildcat, no deep balls, just basic run off tackles, and short slants for positive yds. Alabama didn't run up the score against penn state this year or the last out of one huge thing. Respect for Joe P. Period the end. Past the 3rd quarter, it was hugely dominated by the run. The game was in hand, protect the football and play with class. I can't wait for saturday when fsu's "numbers" are then actually altered when they play a real team.

Couldnt had said it better. You can't compare FSU to LSU or Bama. Bama played EVERYONE against Kent St. and most 2nd and 3rd string guys most of the game. And like Casper said you dont run up the board at Penn St for respect. The play calling was very simple and forward. Bama went out and did what they needed to do to put one in the win column. They have one more weekend to prepare. FSU has a decent team, the best in recent years but couldnt put their shoes on in the same stadium as Bama or LSWho.

I watch as much FSU football as I do Miami. My wife and inlaws are all FSU alumni. Your D is as good as LSU. They have the offense to be great BUT you are suffering from Jacoryitis. Why does every school think Vick is the norm? Honor students from Cali or Texas win national championships more than speedsters from the inner city. Remember how good Jacory was at first! He almost beat the gaytors as a freshmen.

I've attempted to remain quiet in all of the college smack this year, but come on man. Stop comparing EJ to Jacory Harris. They are two totally different quarterbacks. Just because they're black and mobile, doesn't make them the same. EJ is around 245 pounds. Jacory? Like 180 soaking wet. Clint Trickett thinks Jacory needs to gain weight. Jacory has also played in far more games, and looked awful against any decent competition, while EJ has won two bowl games and the only two losses he has are against a Tim Tebow-led UF in Gainesville, and against VT in last year's ACCCG (which I'd blame the defense for considering VT converted virtually every 3rd down they needed all game). Just stop with the comparisons, because there are no similarities.

PS - Ask Jacory how his penguins are doing.

You did well. Here is something most fans of schools not named Miami forget. ESPN had him as a Hiesman contender after the 2009 season. Which is more than I can say for FSU's QB. They pass the same. Your QB floats the ball when he should zip it in there. He is FSU's weakness in my eyes. I am putting a refresher youtube up for you. You want to know how b.s. espn is? They edited their heisman watch list from 2009 last year taking off Jacory and a few others. I found the proof!

They started playing 2nd and 3rd string players in the middle of the third quarter! What are they supposed to tell the players that only get to see field time during these games?? "Go out there and dont perform to your full potential during the limited time you will get to play this year??" When a receiver is open are they supposed to not throw to him or when a RB breaks free is he supposed to slow down so the defense can catch him?? I agree saturday will be the true challenge and hopefully we will put jealous fans like you to shame
